Oh, yeah, I didn't mention this yet, but I have severe glaucoma, pressures in the 40mm's if you know what that means.... I am losing my precious sight... in so much pain, the lenses in my eye was stuck to my pupil making it unable to contract or expand, but they unstuck it so that is good.. also severe iritis, and a full pupil cataract... I am already blind in one eye... I have been desperately trying to find some financial aid to get these surgeries but no luck so far... Only one doctor will perform the surgery on a payment plan but he does not do the ideal surgery that I need, installing a valve in my eye to release pressure... But I am hopeful... there is no cure for glaucoma, the #2 cause of blindness, but if I could get this surgery there is a chance to save my eyesight if it works, which has about a 70% chance... if I could only get the surgery... I go back to the doctor tomorrow, wish me luck! love you all..

Ran, you should check out the local blind assistance groups in Austin - the Texas State School for the Blind is there, and they may have some resources to help you. Their website is www.tsbvi.edu/
